recharged ipod and now there is a symbol and words telling me it is still connected...i can't get back into the main menu and use the ipod normally...

Problems after charging ipod

Have charged the ipod on a laptop computer and after charging there is a symbol of the ipod and words saying connected.. i cannot get back to the main menu to use the ipod thank you...
