I started my truck and it ran fine. I drove about 2 miles and I heard a beeping sound and my truck died. I got a jump and it started right up. I drove about 2 blocks heard the beeping sound again and the truck died again. I got another jump and it ran for another 2 blocks and died. I got another jump and drove another mile home and it was fne. I went out the next morning it started right up. I drove around the block and it was ok. About 10 minutes before I had to go to work started it and drove it to the front of my house and let it run to warm up. I went to go to work put it in drive heard the beeping and it died again. I got a jump and it started right up. I put it in my drivewa and left it set. I went out and jumped it and let it run about 10 minutes and as soon as I was getting ready to take it for a test drive it beeped and died. Is it the battery or the alternator or what??? Can soeone help me out????...

Installed new alternator, but not charging, I checked 15a fuse its OK, still no charge. Removed new alternator and had checked - lts OK, but no charge is going to battery when running. ?????...

Dabei steht doch ausdrücklich in der betriebsanleitung, dass der xp nicht zum schneepflügen verwendet werden soll... Tztztz......

was würdet ihr mir eher empfehlen von wegen zuverlässigkeit,ersatzteilbeschaffung und preise,schlechtwegetauglichkeit,komfort
den ford explorer baujahr 1999-2000
den chevrolet tahoe erste generation baujahr 1999-2000
oder die deutsche vernunftalternative mercedes e320 t-modell 4-matic auch baujahr 1999.
oder astro van awd neueres modell.
ich weiß,ist ein explorer forum...

Quelle ist die fachzeitschrift ''off road'' und deren jährliche bekanntgabe der zulassungszahlen von geländewagen, pick up´s und suv.
90/91/92 gibt es vom kba nur schätzungen aller ford-importe. Diese betragen ca. 200 stück/jahr.
ab 1993 wird der ford explorer von ca. 3000...
