something wrong with map

Hi I think i did some changes ! The map gives straight line from point A-b , rather than non linear line. Any route never be straight! what i've done ? and what i should do in the setup to have turn by turn in the map ? thanks my email almagram@hotmail.com ...

GPSMAP 276C will not boot up

Unit keeps cycling on and off with battery or when plugged in. If I press On and Menu I get a screen with software version and what looks like system information (RAM - Pass, ROM - Pass, etc.), but when I hit on/off button again it goes back to the cycling on off thing....
