CORRECT OPERATION OF CONTROLLER IN AUTO MODE

I HAVE A HONEYWELL CM67NG CONTROLLER WHICH I AM HAVING TO USE IN MANUAL MODE ALL THE TIME BECAUSE WHEN I PUT IT INTO AUTO MODE IT SEEMS TO STILL TURN THE BOILER ON WHEN IT IS OUTSIDE THE PRESET TIMES. I BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE INSTALLATION SO I AM TRYING TO TRACK DOWN INFO OR WIRING DIAGRAMS ON HOW IT SHOULD BE CONNECTED IN ORDER TO ELIMATE THAT AS THE PROBLEM REGARDS ADAM...

Keeps cutting out and showing 40* not even two years old and been told its not under warrenty !!!!!!...
