scanning trouble, no scanning instructional cd

Is there a way to use the paten glass to scn from instead of the top feeder? Also, when using the top feeder to scan only the right 2/3 of the sheet gets scanned when we use the centering paper holder....

Print cover sheet

In a shared printer environment, how do I configure the printer to print out a cover sheet with each print job stating who the printout is coming from? The whole printer area is swamped with uncollected printouts - a much bigger paper waste than a cover sheet/print job! :)...
